The Nancy Dooling Scholarship

The Nancy Dooling Scholarship is awarded annually to young women golfers between age 13 and 18.  2010 was the 15^th year that San Antonio Chapter of EWGA has offered the scholarship.  Each year the Scholarship Committee, sends our EWGA-SA scholarship application to area high schools encouraging young women golfers to apply. Scholarship recipients typically receive $1000 and a certificate of recognition at the EWGA-SA Annual Kick Off Event.

The scholarship is based on academic and athletic achievements, community service, and the role that the young women expect golf to play in their lives.

The funds are provided to help support improvement of their golf game, which may include the purchase of new equipment, golf instruction, travel expenses, and other golf related expenses.
